Thought to Ponder

A Manifested Promise

And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: 
"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people, And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of David His servant-- As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from of old..." Luke 1:67-70

All the hustle and bustle, the lights, the presents, the wrapping paper.... aaahhh! It's overwhelming to say the least. This time of year we are all focused on getting our list finished and buying all those gifts. We tell our kids that we give gifts to each other because we have been given the best gift of all, Jesus Christ. We all know the story and the reason for the birth of Jesus, our salvation. As I read the Christmas story from Luke this morning I realized that not only were we given a Saviour through Jesus Christ but that it was God proving to us that He would always keep His promises. God's prophets in the Old Testament had foretold the birth of a Saviour and in Luke 1:67-70 Zacharias is thanking God for fulfilling His promise. God's word never fails and never lets us down. Others may let you down but God will fulfill His promises to you. Take time this week to thank Him for being such a loving and faithful Father.

Sunday Morning Fellowship Hostess

We are searching for someone to oversee the Sunday morning Fellowship time. This person would be responsible for enlisting volunteers and scheduling a rotation of people who would have the coffee, juice, refreshments, etc... ready on Sunday morning and clean up afterwards. If you are interested or would like more information please reply to info@discovernewvision.org

In order to continue having this wonderful time of fellowship we need someone to step up and fill this position.

Fellowship Team

New Vision Worship Center needs individuals that have the gift of hospitality to serve with a team of others that are willing to plan, organize, and execute events.

This team will serve in many areas and functions within New Vision. This team will coordinate Family Worship Nights, Sunday Morning Fellowship Time, Outreach Events, Fellowship Events, & other general hospitality requirements. This team will be under the direction of the Staff. To volunteer or for more information info@discovernewvision.org

Friday Night Coffee Shop Manager

New Vision needs someone to manage the Friday night Coffee Shop. The duties of this position would include (but not limited to) enlisting workers, scheduling workers, maintaining inventory and supplies, working with leadership in keeping financial records for Coffee Shop, etc... The State of the Vision

Coming up in January 2008 Pastor Jason will be sharing The State of the Vision of New Vision Ministries at New Vision Worship Center. During this intimate time Pastor Jason will share where God is leading New Vision Ministries and New Vision Worship Center. As Pastor Jason gives The State of the Vision you will hear of where we've been, how we've evolved, and where New Vision is going. Time and date to be announced at a later time.
